Public Bathing Place Operator Training
Owners, operations, maintenance and management personnel. The Public Bathing Place Operator is responsible not only for the function and operation of the facility, but also for its acceptance by the community in which it is
located and by its patrons, present and potential.
Oklahoma code requires each facility to be under the supervision and direction of a properly trained operator.
The registration fee of $195.00 includes the pool operator Handbook and all certification fees. The 1 day training course will cover safety, disease prevention, filtration, water chemistry, circulation, management, record keeping and
the care of indoor & seasonal pools. Information will be provided on operation requirements under the Oklahoma Public Bathing Place Code
Successful completion on the open book written examination will result in certification as a Public Bathing Place Operator. This certification will be valid in the state of Oklahoma for 3 years.
Note: You must bring valid, government issued picture ID (Drivers License, Passport, Military ID, Resident Alien Card, etc) with you on the first day of class. You must bring with you a pencil/highlighter, photo ID, and a calculator.
